Frias Mount it is 14 miles far from El Calafate, in the area of Alice Estancia. We pick passengers up from the hotel in El Calafate and drive west following the road that leads to Perito Moreno Glacier. After about 20 minutes we arrive in Cerro Frias and according to the excursion you have chosen -4 x 4, horseback ride or trekking and flying fox - you will ascend the mountain, trough different circuits.
During the journey, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of Torres del Paine, Fitz Roy Mount, North and South arm of the Argentino Lake, Mouth of the Devil, and you will also know all the autochthonous flora and fauna of the region. The way back goes trough an spectacular Lenga forrest. After two hours and a half the excursion ends up in the restaurant of the estancia which is placed on the base of the mountain.
